Sadness

There is so much blog sadness right now.
Cecily is mourning the loss of her two little ones and Beaver Girl has suffered a huge loss.
The sudden passing of Annie the cat has touched me too because she so resembled my last cat Ziggy, who went quickly as well.

I don't know what to think about loss. Why do those who want so much lose so much?
Do they invest more in life than others? How much will it hurt if I find there's no heartbeat next week?
